Looking at the Letters of Peter in the New Testament
Links to the brief notes from studies are given here. It is believed that Peter the Apostle was the author of the letters, but they were actually penned by Silas. Late AD 62 seems to be the favourite date for 1 Peter and between AD 65 to AD 68 for 2 Peter. The Intended readers were Jewish and Gentile Greek speaking believers.
